Chinese Stir-Fried Shrimps Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 pound (340 g) shelled raw shrimps
  • 3 tablespoons (45 mL) corn oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 (6-ounce / 170-mL) pack fresh green peas
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup (60 to 125 mL) bamboo shoots, sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5 mL) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) dry Sherry
How to cook Chinese Stir-Fried Shrimps:
  • Into a wok, heat together corn oil, ginger and garlic.
  • Mix in shrimps stir-fry for 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Mix in green peas and bamboo shoots stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar and dry Sherry.
  • Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Serve, really hot.

Note:

Serve over boiled rice.
