Danish Smoked Salmon Potato Pie Recipe

Danish Smoked Salmon Potato Pie recipe Serves/Makes: 4

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound smoked salmon, cut into thin strips
  • 1 pound potatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 tablespoons bread crumbs
  • 2 ounces butter, cubed
  • Handful dill, chopped
How to cook Danish Smoked Salmon Potato Pie:
  • Cook the potatoes 15 minutes and slice them.
  • Put 1/3 of the potato slices on the bottom of a greased oven dish.
  • Put half of the salmon, and half of the onions on top.
  • Repeat this process and end with a layer of potato slices.
  • Mix the sour cream with the eggs and dill and pour this over the potatoes.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and distribute the butter evenly over the bread crumbs.
  • Bake about 20 minutes in the oven at 375°F (180°C).
