Easy Deep Fried Fish Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds (1 kg) fish fillets
  • 2 cups (280 g) sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons (15 mL) salt
  • 2 teaspoons (10 mL) baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup (250 mL) milk
  • 2 tablespoons (30 mL) oil
  • Oil (for deep frying)
How to cook:
  • Into a deep-fryer, preheat frying some oil to 375°F (190°C).
  • Into a bowl, mix together flour, salt and baking powder.
  • Coat fish fillets with mixture, reserving remaining mixture.
  • Lightly beat eggs; beat in milk and oil.
  • Mix in remaining reserved flour mixture; beat until smooth.
  • Dip fish fillet into mixture until completely coated.
  • Deep fry fish fillets until crisp and golden brown.
  • Drain onto paper toweling before serving.

Notes:

Just like eating at the restaurant!
Serve with French fries.
