Easy Salmon Pie Recipe
Serves/Makes: 6
Ingredients:
- 1 large can salmon, with liquid
- Hot boiled potatoes
- A little milk
- Chopped green onion, to taste
- Chopped celery, to taste
- A little butter
- 2 (9-inch / 23-cm) pie shells
- Pepper
- Mash boiled potatoes with salmon liquid and a little milk.
- Lightly brown chopped green onion and celery in a little melted butter.
- Mix together mashed potatoes, green onion mixture and salmon pepper to taste.
- Spoon mixture into one of the pastry shells cover with remaining pastry shell.
- Cut a few slits on top of pie.
- Bake into a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven, for 30 to 45 minutes.
