Georgian Salmon in Vinegar Sauce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets
  • 2 large bay leaves, crushed
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and minced
  • 1 cup white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
How to cook Georgian Salmon in Vinegar Sauce:
  • Rub salmon with pepper to taste and bay leaves. Let it sit for 30 minutes.
  • Prepare charcoal fire.
  • In a large skillet, simmer the onion with vinegar, water and salt for 15 minutes.
  • When charcoals are ready, grill the salmon until just flaky.
  • Transfer the grilled salmon to the skillet and heat gently in the sauce for a minute or two.
  • Serve the grilled salmon hot, garnished with parsley.
