Pasta with Salmon Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 (15-ounce / 426-mL) can salmon
  • 1/2 pound (227 g) fettucine noodles
  • 2 tablespoons (30 g) butter
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup (250 mL) cream (35%)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon (15 mL) paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) nutmeg
  • 1/2 pound (227 g) fresh asparagus tips
  • 1/3 cup (75 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) freshly chopped parsley
How to cook Pasta with Salmon:
  • Boil fettucine noodles until done drain and set aside.
  • Meanwhile, into a casserole, melt butter.
  • Brown together onion and garlic.
  • Pour in cream bring to a boil.
  • Salt, pepper, season with paprika and nutmeg, then add asparagus tips.
  • Drain and then crumble salmon into sauce.
  • Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  • Mix together sauce and reserved pasta.
  • Serve, sprinkled with freshly chopped parsley.

Notes:

Fast but how good: 10 minutes to prepare, 10 minutes to cook... Excellent even if salmon is not your favorite dish!
