Polynesian Tuna Fish Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups flaked tuna fish, canned or freshly cooked
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup cooked peas or beans
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 3 hard-boiled eggs
  • 4 - 6 lettuce leaves
How to cook Polynesian Tuna Fish Salad:
  • Remove the bones from the fish.
  • Mash the taro.
  • Combine together in a bowl tuna fish, celery, onion, and cooked peas or beans.
  • Mix carefully, do not to break the fish into too small pieces.
  • Serve the Tuna Fish Salad on lettuce leaves. Garnish with sliced eggs.

Note:

The Polynesian Tuna Fish Salad is delicious, simple, and really easy to cook.

Tips:

A few herbs can be added to improve the flavour.
Cooked yams or sweet potatoes can be used instead of taro.
