Sweet and Sour Striped Bass Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pounds striped bass fillets
  • 2 Tablespoons margarine
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup horseradish (optional, but good!)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons wine vinegar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • Hungarian paprika
How to cook:
  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
  • In a pan, melt margarine, add flour, and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Stir in sour cream, horseradish, lemon juice, wine vinegar, sugar and mustard.
  • Spread 1/2 of mixture in bottom of casserole dish arrange striped bass fillets on top, cover with the remainder of mixture.
  • Sprinkle with Hungarian paprika.
  • Cover with foil and bake for about 20 minutes.
