Chinese Stir-Fried Shrimps Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 3/4 pound (340 g) shelled raw shrimps
- 3 tablespoons (45 mL) corn oil
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) ginger
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 (6-ounce / 170-mL) pack fresh green peas
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup (60 to 125 mL) bamboo shoots, sliced
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5 mL) sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) dry Sherry
How to cook:
- Into a wok, heat together corn oil, ginger and garlic.
- Mix in shrimps stir-fry for 1 1/2 minutes.
- Mix in green peas and bamboo shoots stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Pour in chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar and dry Sherry.
- Stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Serve, really hot.
Note:
Serve over boiled rice.
