Easy Deep Fried Fish Recipe

Serves/Makes: 6

Ingredients:

2 pounds (1 kg) fish fillets
2 cups (280 g) sifted all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons (15 mL) salt
2 teaspoons (10 mL) baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup (250 mL) milk
2 tablespoons (30 mL) oil
Oil (for deep frying)

How to cook:

Into a deep-fryer, preheat frying some oil to 375°F (190°C).
Into a bowl, mix together flour, salt and baking powder.
Coat fish fillets with mixture, reserving remaining mixture.
Lightly beat eggs; beat in milk and oil.
Mix in remaining reserved flour mixture; beat until smooth.
Dip fish fillet into mixture until completely coated.
Deep fry fish fillets until crisp and golden brown.
Drain onto paper toweling before serving.

Notes:

Just like eating at the restaurant!
Serve with French fries.
