Oysters with White Wine Recipe
Serves/Makes: 4
Ingredients:
- 24 fresh oysters (in shells)
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) soda cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) white wine
- 24 slices of bacon
- White wine
How to cook:
- Open-up oyster shells, reserving 12 to 24 shells transfer oysters into a bowl.
- Mix together soda cracker crumbs and white wine evenly spoon part of the mixture into reserved shells.
- Add one or two oysters sprinkle with remaining soda cracker crumbs mixture.
- Top each shell with a slice of bacon.
- Bake into a preheated 500°F (260°C) oven, onto higher rack, for 10 minutes, to just curl bacon slices.
- Sprinkle with a few drops of white wine and serve.
