Sole Fillets with Worcestershire Sauce Recipe
Serves/Makes: 3 - 4
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (454 g) sole fillets
- 3 tablespoons (45 mL) butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons (7.5 mL) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15 mL) lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) fine breadcrumbs
How to cook:
- Into a small casserole, melt butter mix in Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and salt.
- Arrange sole fillets into an oven-safe dish evenly coat with half of Worcestershire sauce mixture.
- Bake into a preheated 425°F (220°C) oven for 7 to 10 minutes, until fish can easily be broken-up with a fork.
- Mix breadcrumbs into remaining Worcestershire sauce mixture sprinkle all over baked sole fillets.
- Broil until breadcrumbs are golden brown.
