Thai Kingfish Fried in Batter Recipe
Serves/Makes: 3 - 4
Ingredients:
- 1 whole kingfish (king mackerel), about 1 1/2 - 2 pounds
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup water
- Cooking oil for frying
How to cook:
- Clean the kingfish, wash well, slice open down the length of the back, and remove the bones.
- Mix the flour and water.
- Heat enough oil to deep fry the kingfish in a wok. Dip the kingfish into the batter so that it is coated completely. Fry the fish until golden brown, transfer to a plate, and serve with chili sauce or some other sauce you like.
