Tuna Macaroni Casserole Recipe
Serves/Makes: 3 - 4
Ingredients:
- 1 (6 1/2-ounce / 184-mL) can flaked tuna fish
- 2 cups (500 mL) macaroni elbows
- 1 teaspoon (5 mL) salt
- 4 cups (1 L) boiling water
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30 mL) chopped parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 mL) curry powder
- 1 (10-ounce / 284-mL) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) breadcrumbs
- Diced butter
How to cook:
- Pour macaroni into an 8-cup (2-L) casserole.
- Salt and pour in boiling water.
- Microwave, uncovered, for 6 to 8 minutes on 'MEDIUM-MAXIMUM'.
- Leave to rest for 5 minutes.
- Drain pasta.
- In casserole, well mix together tuna fish, chopped onion and parsley, curry powder and cream of chicken soup.
- Well mix in cooked macaroni.
- Sprinkle mixture with breadcrumbs dot with butter dices.
- Microwave, uncovered, for 6 to 8 minutes, on 'MEDIUM-MAXIMUM'.
- Leave to rest for 5 minutes, before serving.

Cooking time: 8 minutes
Waiting time: 5 minutes
To vary, use any desired cream soup.
